Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. And yes, I get that the midweek blues are catching up, but dressing cute always helps me to cope with the weekdays. So here’s hoping this post will add some inspiration to your daily dressing routine. This is something I would wear on vacation to a fun, tropical location, or to brunch with the girls, a lunch/movie date, family get-together or a “meet his parents” kinda occasion. It’s a fun, feminine and casual outfit. Super comfy and very ladylike as well.
The dress is a baby blue striped off the shoulder one with a pom-pom trim. I can’t tell you how much I’m obsessed with stripes and pom-poms of late! Almost every item on my online shopping wishlist has pom-poms on it. I picked up this dress from Forever 21 while vacationing in Penang. It’s really comfortable, airy and in trend. I paired it up with a beige satchel that I also picked up from Forever 21. I feel like beige and baby blue is a very underrated color combination when it comes to day-time looks. The colour combo can make anyone look very elegant and put together.
I also decided to go with a neutral colour scheme for my accessories and footwear. Here I’m wearing beige wedges with champagne gold straps that I stole from my mom 😛 Theyre from a local boutique in Goa. I’m also wearing a layered gold moon neckpiece that I picked up at Forever 21 (Not so difficult to guess what my favourite store is, is it?). I absolutely love this necklace because it pairs with almost any outfit. Also, how cute is the tiny crescent moon charm?! I’m a complete sucker for anything moon and star related!
I also threw on a beige Fedora in some pictures, which went really well with the outfit. I wouldn’t wear the hat on a lunch date or brunch, however, it would be perfect on vacation, perhaps for a city tour.
Before I end this blog post, I’d like to give a big shout out to Shutter Love photography by Akhil Kenkre. I’m not someone who’s very comfortable in front of the camera but this guy made me feel at ease. He’s really fun to shoot with and does all sorts of photography (event, pre-wedding, product, etc) so if you need a photographer, you know who to contact.
I hope you guys liked this post, there’s a lot of effort that’s gone into it, so don’t forget to give it a like and share if you do 🙂
