Hi Guys! I’m back with yet another ‘summer-inspired’ post. This one is inspired by the colours and vibes of the Indian summer. I recently took a trip to Bangalore for my graduation ceremony and then Bombay for the Justin Beiber concert and happened to find a lot of inspiration around me in terms of colours. Summers in India are super hot in most regions, however, they’re also very vibrant and colourful. The outfit I picked is an Indian inspired outfit. I don’t wear a lot of Indian stuff because I don’t own any pieces, however I’ve always been a fan of eclectic Indian clothing and so this is what inspired me to create this look. Don’t get me wrong, this is not an ‘Indian’ look, just an Indian-inspired one.
Since the weather is super hot these days, I went for an over-sized white crop top from Ginger by Lifestyle. I love the multicoloured trim on this one and it’s perfect to wear in the summers because it’s white and breezy. Also, hands up if you love oversized tops! I’m a huge fan because they’re super comfy and stylish at the same time.
I paired my crop top with distressed denim cut offs from Forever 21. Forever 21 has the cutest shorts in their collection, plus they’re super affordable and comfy too.
For shoes, I went with these cute Indian pom-pom slippers that I picked up at Linking road in Bandra. I’m not a fan of flats, but I absolutely adore these slippers!
For accessories, I wanted to go a little heavier on the jewelry, but I decided to keep it light because of the summer heat. I wore a multicoloured beaded bracelet that I bought from a local handicraft exhibition ages ago! I also wore a pair of orange and copper beaded hoop earrings from Splash.
I really enjoyed styling this outfit. I hope you guys liked it too! If you have any feedback, please leave it in the comments below. I’d love to take your thoughts into consideration while blogging.
